Custom Private 28' Boat Charter in Kawaihae

Captain Chad, Ryan, Yuta, and the rest of the crew have built something genuinely special on the Big Island. The consistent thread across reviews is how personal and unhurried the experience feels. Guests aren't shuffled through a script. Instead, the crew adapts the day around what each group actually wants, whether that's serious fishing, manta ray night dives, snorkeling reefs, or watching whales breach up close. Families with young kids come up repeatedly as a standout strength. Captain Chad is one of the few operators willing to take small children on manta ray experiences, and parents consistently rave about how safe and supported everyone felt. Ryan gets particular praise for his Big Island knowledge and storytelling, and Yuta earns his own loyal fan base for his calm, expert snorkeling guidance. The crew even shows up with fresh pineapple, banana bread, snacks, and cold drinks. One practical note from reviewers: if you're prone to seasickness, come prepared with medication. The Pacific can be unpredictable and a few guests mentioned this is worth taking seriously. That small caveat aside, the reviews paint a picture of a crew that genuinely loves what they do and passes that energy on to every guest. For a private charter experience that feels more like a day out with locals than a tourist excursion, this team is a strong choice.
