- A boating test is required for operators born after 1988
- Arrive 45 minutes early if taking the boating test; otherwise arrive 30 minutes early
- Bring a photo ID with birth date if operating
- All adults must complete paperwork, and everyone onboard must sign a waiver
- Stay out of the Gulf of Mexico
- Expect a harbor fee and credit card processing fee in addition to the listed price; amounts are not specified
- If Trip Protection is added, its fee is non-refundable
- A Lillypad add-on costs $49; loss or damage can result in a charge of up to $500
- During Crab Island special events, ages 25+ are required to operate and a $500 cash deposit applies in addition to the listed price

Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund with at least 48 hours' cancellation notice. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.

Bring sunscreen, towels, sunglasses, an ice chest, picnic items, and any water toys you want to use. Do not bring a grill.
Life jackets are available onboard, but child sizes are limited, so bring your own for small children if possible. Bring your own speaker if music is important, as the boat speakers are not guaranteed to work.
Operators must be ages 25+. A cash deposit applies, damage protection is unavailable, and only people listed on the manifest may be onboard. Authorized personnel may inspect the vessel; safety violations end the rental without a refund.
