Important details
- Ages 18+ only
- Requires completed Open Water certification
- Requires good health with no heart conditions
- Requires a medical evaluation if the medical questionnaire identifies a condition
- Requires understanding English safety and dive briefings
- Complete PADI eLearning and sign the waiver before the course
- Bring or arrange required personal scuba equipment
- Arrange your own transportation; transportation is not provided
- Arrive by the scheduled course start; the vessel may depart 15 minutes afterward
- Use only mineral sunscreen aboard the vessel
- Do not fly or drive above 2,000 feet for 18 hours after diving
- An additional $90 charge applies if your PADI eLearning affiliation is not with Kona Honu Divers
Cancellation Policy
Cancel up to 7 days before your course for a full refund. If you access eLearning, your refund excludes its cost. Cancellations within 7 days, no-shows, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late are not refunded. If the operator cancels, rescheduling may be offered or you’ll receive a full refund.
