Our experience with Beyond Skagway was outstanding! We chose the Emerald Lake tour, and we were able to customize our tour in advance so we were able to hit all of the places we were hoping to see. The tour itself was fantastic. Our tour guide Gary was knowledgeable and engaging. He made sure to share relevant and important information about the area, and he stopped at all of the best places to get great photos. When we stopped in Carcross for lunch (a picnic of super delicious sandwiches pre-ordered through Glacial Coffeehouse--the Brixton sandwich, YUM!), he brought us to an amazing bakery for the best sourdough cinnamon rolls that I am still swooning over 10 days later! He even made an unscheduled stop at the Gold Rush Cemetery at our request. 10/10, thank you, Gary!!! As for the tour stops, we loved all of the places we were able to stop and see. Emerald Lake is stunning, and the Yukon suspension bridge offers amazing views over the river, but I think the highlight for us was the musher's summer training camp. Although we arrived when most of the puppies were snoozing, we still got to say hello to them before going on the cart ride. The cart ride itself was a fun experience, and we were able to pet the sled dogs afterward, which was a huge bonus for all of us! Overall, this tour was wonderful, and I highly recommend booking a tour with Beyond Skagway!
