Canyoneer Entrajo Canyon, then packraft the Colorado River on a private tour
7 - 9 hours
Guide, gear, packraft
Explore a red rock slot canyon on a guided hike with rappels, then switch gears for an afternoon on the Colorado River in a one-person packraft. This private tour keeps the day focused on your group and your guide.
Minimum age is suggested as 7, with exceptions sometimes made. Plan to get wet in the canyon and on the river, and wear closed-toe shoes.
Groups under 10: Cancel 2+ weeks out for a full refund. Cancel within 2 weeks but more than 48 hours out: charged a $20/person deposit. Cancel within 48 hours: no refund. Groups 10+: 10% deposit is non-refundable unless guides cancel due to weather; full refunds if your guide cancels due to bad weather.
Wear closed-toe hiking shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring 1–2 liters of water per person, plus snacks and a lunch. Pack a backpack, and consider sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a camera. If you want different footwear for the river, bring water shoes or sandals with heel straps.
Plan to get wet in the canyon and on the river. Depending on recent rains, you may walk, wade, or swim through pools during the canyon portion.
You don’t need to show up with techniques dialed in—your guide will teach you the skills you need in the canyon and go over packrafting basics and river safety before you launch.

What a great experience due to our guide. We had scheduled for 2 half days and were able to extend one day into a full day. She paced the hiking and selected trails that fit our abilities. Led us in directions that avoided crowded pathways. Made sure we were safe and saw everything we hoped for. She brought extra water and snacks to be on the safe side. You should totally do this guided experience!
