Wear quick-drying, non-cotton clothing and shoes that protect your feet from rocks, such as sneakers, water shoes, or toe-covering sandals with straps. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses.
Bring layers in spring and fall. Wetsuits and paddle jackets are available to rent for cooler-weather trips, especially in March, April, and October.
