Cedar Pond Farms delivers an absolutely delightful Highland cow experience that keeps visitors raving. The intimate, small-group sessions give you plenty of time to feed, brush, and pet these fluffy beauties, each with their own distinct personality. The facility stands out for its cleanliness and attention to detail, creating a welcoming atmosphere that feels special from start to finish. Guides like Hannah, Tim, Allie, and Noah consistently earn praise for their knowledge about the breed and genuine enthusiasm, making sure everyone stays safe while getting up close with the horned cuties. Beyond the cow encounters, visitors love the thoughtful extras: complimentary gelato and coffee afterward, accommodating staff who bring chairs for those with mobility concerns, and even photo assistance. Families find it perfect for all ages, while couples appreciate it as a unique date or gift idea. Some guests also rave about the on-site lodging (the Barndo), which comes fully equipped with fun touches like collecting your own eggs for breakfast and proximity to the animals.

Wow, where to even start!? We had such a fabulous time staying in the Barndo 2AS, my son traveled from Northeastern Ohio to play in a college football game against Carson-Newman (beautiful stadium/campus by the way), but, Go Gons!!!🐲🏈💪🏽🤟🏽 Anywho my daughter and I had the pleasure of coming across this place via Facebook I believe and it was perfect, we were maybe 2 miles from campus, absolutely loved the "Farm Life" for a few days, and Cherokee Lake just a couple miles away also. Book directly through their website, you'll get pampered extra special. We walked the farm and pond several times, enjoyed the views and quiet time. One morning we walked over to the main barn and did the Highland cow/Donkey encounter one morning, ended up just being me and my daughter which was awesome, our own personal tour, we got to meet several fur-kids of the farm, Cinnamon and Jack Jack were our Favs, and baby Gracie too. We got to feed them treats and brush them and learned an awesome biblical story about the donkeys there and how and why the mini-donkeys all have a cross on their back, we loved that and have repeated that story a few times to friends and family (you'll have to go and visit to hear it if you don't know the story), thanks to Hannah, she was wonderful as our guide!! She also made us gelato ice cream and wonderful coffees after. We also collected fresh eggs everyday to cook for breakfast and made fresh espresso shots for our cold coffees and yummy hot coffees too. The unit was amazing, we had gelato in the freezer, spring water to drink, great coffee and espresso pods were supplied, and the best and neatest part to our unit was walking in to a fresh bouquet of Daisy's sitting on the counter. That was a huge Wow moment as I lost my husband suddenly and unexpectedly last year as a Firefighter and his birth flowers are Daisy's, how awesome was that?? We went to the Lake one day, we also went to the Distillery and Ghost and Grits, that was a fun vibe, we also drove to Anakeesta one late afternoon into the evening, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are an easy drive there and back, took us about 30-45 minutes each way and you don't have to worry about all the people, chaos, and bears eating your cars, they tend to stay away from farms, well Jack Jack too!! Lol!! The owner Shawn was very helpful and attentive to any needs and questions, a must stay, we hope to return in the near future. Thank you so much for the hospitality and wonderful memories, until next time, Go Tiffin Dragons!!!💚
