- Bring a valid driver's license, proof of full-coverage rental-car insurance, and a credit card
- Carry a passport to enter Canada, or if you're a USA citizen, a valid ID copy and original birth certificate
- Keep within the 175-mile daily limit; cruise ship passengers are charged $1 per additional mile
- Additional drivers must sign a separate rental agreement at vehicle pickup
- Return by 5 PM or one hour before ship departure, whichever comes first, if arriving by cruise ship
- Avoid smoking in the vehicle; a $250 cleaning charge applies
- Follow speed limits; towing caused by unsafe driving that depletes the battery costs $250 to $1,500
- Travelers from outside the USA or Canada must purchase additional insurance; an additional fee applies
- Expect an additional charge for an optional Chilkooterie lunch box, based on party size
Cancellation Policy
Full refund with at least 48 hours' notice. For groups of 5 or more, cancel at least 1 week ahead for a full refund. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
