Itinerary
- Meet at Ecusta Brewing at 9:30am.
- Short shuttle (about 5–10 minutes) to Pisgah Forest Access to begin the paddle.
- Paddle the French Broad River to Penrose Access (approximately 2 hours total experience).
- Shuttle back to Ecusta Brewing arriving around 12:00pm.

Important details
- Arrive dressed and ready 15 minutes before your trip time
- Swimming ability is required for all participants
- Shoes are required on the river; flip-flops are not permitted
- Wear a life jacket at all times while on the river
- Complete and sign the liability waiver before going on the river; a legal guardian must sign for participants under 18
- Drinks and food are not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel 7 or more days before your trip for a full refund. Cancel 1–6 days before for a 50% refund. No refund for day-of no-shows. River trips depart rain or shine. Receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to thunder or lightning, unsafe air or water temperatures, high winds, or high water levels.
FAQs
You may bring your own Type III Coast Guard-approved life jacket. Wear a life jacket at all times while on the river.
