• Stay within channel markers and observe no-wake zones; speeding in these zones may result in a fine. Do not drink and drive the boat.
• If you run aground, turn off and raise the motor, then push the boat into deeper water. Do not use the motor to drive or reverse out of shallow water.
• Avoid black-soled shoes, stay off the seats when standing, put the bumpers out before docking, and rinse anchors before bringing them aboard.
• Arrive early at your launch ramp. The rental begins at the agreed meeting time, and the delivery team can generally wait only 15 minutes. Return the boat at the agreed end time.
