Explore Dragon Rock, Russel Wright’s experimental home, and the landscape he shaped around an abandoned quarry. Follow a guided walking route through woodland, water features, and distinctive mid-century design.

Itinerary
- The tour will begin promptly by the Trail Kiosk, where a professionally trained Site Educator will greet and lead the group up the tour path from the public lot through the Landscape and to the House, Studio and Design Gallery.
- The tour lasts 90 minutes from start to finish, with approximately 45 minutes spent in the Landscape (ascending and descending the footpath) and 45 minutes in the interiors.
- The tour pauses often to take in points of interest with context and history provided by our staff.
- At the end of the tour, the Site Educator will lead the group back to the public lot, where the Guide House / Gift Shop will be open.

Important details
- Ages 10+ only; infants are not admitted
- Minors must remain accompanied by an adult
- Requires walking on uneven ground, inclines and declines, and more than 40 stone steps with handrails
- Wear flat outdoor walking shoes suitable for uneven ground
- Tours operate rain or shine; dress for outdoor weather conditions
- Remain with staff throughout the tour
- Pets and non-service animals are not permitted; ADA Title III service animals only
- Leave backpacks, large bags, tripods, cumbersome camera equipment, extension poles, and selfie sticks behind
- Open food and beverage containers are not permitted on tour
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on site, including the parking lot
- Participation requires accepting a liability waiver and site rules
- Requires no COVID-19 symptoms, positive test, or close contact with an exposed or diagnosed person within the prior 14 days
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before start. No cancellations, changes, or refunds within 24 hours or for refusal to follow site policy. Tours run rain or shine and may be canceled for severe weather.

No. The Manitoga tour requires the landscape hike; there is no alternative access to the House on public tours.
Use the picnic tables in the Meadow beside the public parking lot before or after your visit. Hiking trails are open daily from dawn to dusk from the same parking lot. Carry out all food and waste.
