Itinerary

1. Start with shared pickup for Join-in Shared Transfers and Flight; pickup timing varies seasonally. For Self Drive, Join-in Flight, meet at 03:50 in Nerang or at the alternative meeting point at 14 Kidston Street, Canungra.
2. Enjoy a 1-hour balloon flight. Join-in Shared Transfers and Flight lists Canungra Visitors Centre as the approximate location for takeoff in the Gold Coast Hinterland; timing changes seasonally and the location varies with conditions. For Self Drive, Join-in Flight, the flight stage is listed at 07:00 in Nerang.
3. For Join-in Shared Transfers and Flight, arrive at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards at 08:00, with an alpaca visit and wine tasting included.
4. Enjoy breakfast at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards. For Self Drive, Join-in Flight, breakfast is at 08:00 at 852 Lamington National Park Road.
5. Finish with the included return shuttle at 10:30 for Join-in Shared Transfers and Flight. For Self Drive, Join-in Flight, return to Nerang at 09:45.

Important details

• The self-drive option requires climbing a 1.2-metre foothold ladder into the balloon basket without assistance
• The shared-transfer option is not recommended during pregnancy or for anyone with high blood pressure, epilepsy or other serious medical conditions
• This activity is not wheelchair-accessible. The self-drive option is also not stroller-accessible
• Bring valid ID for the shared-transfer option
• For the shared-transfer option, do not wear heels, slippers or skirts, or bring a large bag
• If you appear intoxicated, you may be refused participation without a refund
• Your early-morning pickup or meeting time is assigned after booking and varies by season and location. Arrive 15 minutes before departure for shared transfers, or 10 minutes before departure for the self-drive option. Late arrivals and no-shows receive no refund
