Bring a pack, preferably a dry bag, water-appropriate shoes, water, snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, and any necessary medications. Bring rain gear if rain is forecast, plus a lightweight windbreaker, non-cotton long-sleeve shirt or fleece, and a brimmed hat.
No experience requirement is stated. Start with a short orientation and skills demonstration from a licensed guide before paddling the river.
An optional swim may be available, depending on weather and river conditions.
