Ecotour guide, Clear tandem kayaks
Find balance on the water and shore with a guided clear kayak and beach yoga experience at Shell Key Preserve. Paddle calm waters, then unwind in a gentle yoga flow led by a certified instructor.
Each kayak is tandem with a 425 lb combined limit and 250 lb per person. Ages 3+ welcome with an accompanying adult. No pets, alcohol, or swimming; third trimester pregnancy not recommended.
Can kids participate?
Yes! Children ages 3 and up are welcome, but each child must have their own accompanying adult. If a child isn’t big enough for yoga, they can play on the beach under your supervision.
Is swimming part of the activity?
No. This experience includes kayaking and beach yoga only. Any swimming before or after is separate and at your own risk.
What skill level is required?
Beginners are welcome. Participants should have upper-body mobility to paddle and be able to lower to the ground and rise for the yoga portion.
Do I need to know how to do yoga?
No. A certified yoga instructor provides beginner-friendly guidance.
Do I have to participate in yoga?
No. You may relax, wander the beach, or collect shells during the yoga portion.
Are yoga mats provided?
Yes, clean, sanitized yoga mats are provided. You may bring your own.
Should I bring a towel?
Yes. Towels are not provided and are recommended for sand and comfort.
What should I wear?
Wear clothing that can get a little wet, such as yoga clothes, activewear, or a bathing suit. Bring a light jacket on cooler days.
What if there’s bad weather?
If there are thunderstorms or high winds, the tour will be canceled for safety with a refund or reschedule. Tours may operate in hot or cold weather, cloudy skies, or light passing showers.
Cancel more than 72 hours before your tour to receive a full refund or reschedule. Cancel within 72 hours or arrive late/no-show and you will be charged in full. If the operator cancels due to inclement weather, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

Had a great clear kayak trip this morning with BEN. He was very knowledgeable on the birds and other wildlife we encountered on our trip today. She'll key preserve is beautiful. And the trip out and back was very relaxing and enjoyable for our party of 5. We had ben last year when our trip got shortened because of an afternoon thunderstorm ! Glad we had ben on our trip again this time. It make its educational and fun! Thank you Get Up and Go Kayaking Shell Key Preserve and Ben for a great Trip!
