Chris and his crew, including Paul, Logan, Luke, and Ty, have built a genuinely impressive dive operation in Kona. Reviewers consistently highlight how knowledgeable and welcoming the team is, with Chris frequently called out for making even nervous divers feel relaxed and confident in the water. The personalized approach stands out, with small groups and guided dives that feel tailored rather than rushed. The manta ray experiences seem to be a particular highlight, with several divers noting that the team's positioning techniques put guests closer to the rays than they'd experienced elsewhere. Beyond mantas, shore dives, whale watching charters, and scuba certifications all get strong praise. Notably, Chris is also fluent in Japanese, which a handful of reviewers specifically appreciated. With a near-perfect rating across hundreds of reviews, there's a clear consistency here that's hard to ignore. This isn't a flashy operation chasing volume; it feels more like a tight-knit team that genuinely cares about the experience. If you're planning any water activities around Kona, this crew is worth putting at the top of your list.
