Float the Provo or Weber River with a private fly-fishing guide
4 Hours
1-2 people
Rods, waders, snacks
Drift the Provo River or Weber River on a private float trip and cover more water than a walk-in spot. Fish from a Flycraft boat with a guide and enjoy a comfortable seat on the river.
Trips run when river flows allow and require a minimum of 350 cfs. A fishing license is required for most anglers; children aged 11 and under do not need a license.
Fully refundable up to 7 days before start. Cancel within 7 days: 50% refund. Cancel within 48 hours or less: non-refundable.
Bring a valid fishing license unless you’re age 11 or under (children 11 and under do not need a license). The state of Utah no longer issues printed licenses, so plan to show proof in the Utah Hunting and Fishing app.
Dress for the season. Summer: long socks, comfortable pants or shorts, T-shirt or long-sleeve, sunglasses (polarized if you have them), hat, sunscreen, and a rain jacket. Late fall/winter/spring: thick socks, layers, warm pants, jacket or windbreaker, rain jacket, hat, gloves, and sunglasses.
You usually won’t need to wear waders and boots on these float trips. If your guide decides weather conditions make them necessary, they’ll reach out to get your size information.

With a flawless track record spanning well over a decade, this outfitter consistently delivers exceptional guided fishing trips on the Provo River and beyond. Long-time clients return year after year, praising how knowledgeable guides adapt to changing conditions while putting everyone on fish. The guides earn particular recognition for their teaching abilities, patiently working with complete beginners and young kids to land their first catches while keeping experienced anglers equally engaged. Guests repeatedly highlight specific guides by name (Jim, Michael, Grey, Kyson, Dan, Huf, and others), noting their expertise in reading the water, selecting the right techniques, and creating a genuinely fun atmosphere on the river. Families especially appreciate how the guides adjust their approach for different ages and skill levels, with 7-year-olds and 73-year-olds alike having memorable days. First-timers frequently mention leaving hooked on the sport, often catching more fish than they expected and already planning their next trip before the current one ends.
Chris was our guide and he put us on the fish! Caught 13 fish and had steady action all morning! Chris was an incredible guide and an even better guy, and I would recommend this guide service to anyone 10/10
