Multiple families specifically mentioned feeling safe with young children along, and first-time high-altitude hikers credited their guides with getting them safely to summits they might have otherwise turned back from.
We had a perfect rafting experience. The whole trip was so organized and our hosts gave me great ease as they were all very knowledgeable and pleasant. Jake was our guide. He was full of info about the history and ecosystem of the area. Boyd and Jason, the other guided were super helpful and kind, especially to out kids on their first rafting experience. Weather & conditions were perfect! Loved the view of the canyons and railroad from the river. Saw beavers and bald eagles. Thanks for the great pics, Jake!
