Important details
- Moderate walking along trails and pathways is required. Beach access may be limited by natural terrain; accessible restrooms and pathways extend to the beach lookout area.
- Wheelchair-accessible vehicle reservations require at least 48 hours’ notice and are subject to limited availability.
- For each Hawaiʻi resident or active military ticket, present a valid Hawaiʻi ID or U.S. Active Military ID, respectively, at pickup in Waikiki. Eligibility does not extend to accompanying travelers. Without the required ID, admission is not provided; you'll need to purchase admission separately at the on-site kiosk, which is not included in the listed price.
- Pets and other animals are not allowed, except service animals.
- Use the package transportation to receive your admission ticket. Traveling to the bay independently is not an option for this package.
- Keep the wristband provided aboard the vehicle visible for entry and the return shuttle. Wristbands cannot be obtained at the preserve. Watching the safety video during the ride is mandatory for entry.
- Use only reef-safe sunscreen. Do not bring alcohol, glass containers, large tents, oversized coolers, drones, balls, or other flying objects. Smoking, vaping, and e-cigarettes are prohibited.
- Participation includes accepting a liability release covering the transportation operator and the City and County of Honolulu, including claims arising from negligence.
- Dry off before boarding the return vehicle.
- Allow at least 30 minutes to walk back from the beach to the shuttle pickup area for your scheduled return.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations more than 48 hours before service incur a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 48 hours before service and no-shows are non-refundable. Allow 10–12 working days for refunds to be processed back to your card.
