French guide, Artist meeting
Explore Harlem's African-American cultural heritage on a guided tour in French, connecting the neighborhood's history with its music and street art.
Start in the historic neighbourhood of Hamilton Heights, explore the magnificent Hamilton Grange and immerse yourself in the rich history of Harlem. Then head to the centre of Harlem to discover the history of the legendary jazz clubs and the speakeasies where people came to listen to jazz. You can also admire the Astor ROW, a historic street in New York. One of the highlights of this tour? The special meeting with Paul Déo, an iconic Harlem street artist and creator of the famous "Planet Harlem". He will share his vision and his stories (the live guide provides translation for everyone). The tour ends in front of the Apollo Theater, a true institution of African-American culture. This tour will give you a unique experience of the HARLEM district.
