Know before you go
- All drivers must be ages 25+ with a valid driver's license and full-coverage rental-car insurance
- Bring your driver's license, proof of insurance, and a credit card
- Carry a passport to enter Canada; USA citizens may instead use valid ID and an original birth certificate
- Return the vehicle to 398 5th Ave, Skagway by 5 PM or one hour before your ship departs, whichever is earlier
- Sign a separate rental agreement for each additional driver before they drive
- Follow United States and Canadian traffic laws, and keep seat belts fastened for all occupants
- Do not smoke, drink alcohol, or use or possess drugs in the vehicle; a $250 smoking cleaning charge applies and is not included in the listed price
- Cruise ship passengers are charged $1 per mile over the 175-mile daily limit, not included in the listed price
- An additional insurance charge applies when traveling from outside the USA or Canada and is not included in the listed price
