Important details

• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian age 18 or older
• Basic swimming ability is required to use watersports equipment
• Life jackets are available only for participants weighing at least 30 lbs; infant life vests are not available
• Beach umbrellas are available only when winds are under 15 mph
• Return equipment in the same condition; damage, loss, or state permit violations may result in a credit card charge of up to $1,000
• Optional damage protection adds a 6% fee and covers accidental equipment damage during normal use, not misuse or abuse
• Expect a late fee of $60 per item per hour for late equipment returns
• Do not bring dogs, alcohol, fires, or tents, and stay on designated paths
• Landing on Popoia and Mokulua Nui requires State of Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources permits; landings are not allowed on Sundays
