Thrilling experience against a beautiful backdrop with very hospitable guides! This was my first experience ziplining on a large scale and I was with 2 other guests, joined by 3 guides (Eli, Haden, and Christa). Our guides made sure we were very safe and harnessed properly; we also were entertained with conversation and funny jokes. The check-in facility is located deep in a natural, forested area. The road is narrow and can be very bumpy. There is a restroom facility as well. After checking in for the reservation and an individual weigh-in, our guides helped us harness up, then loaded us all in a modified pickup truck and drove further into the ranch to get to our first zipline. The Nui tour has 6 ziplines total. 5 out of the 6 lines are tandem (zip with your partner) and progressively increase in length, with the first one being a good warm-up into the zipline experience. After the first half, we took a water break in an open air shack and talk story with the guides. The second half is where the experience heightens up (literally). These last 3 lines are much longer and higher off the ground at different points. All but one of the ziplines are point A to B ziplines. The one unique line is a pendulum style line with enough clearance to zip upside down! The finale is the Flyline. At 4000 ft long, it's "The Longest Hawaiian Zipline in the World!" It is done head-first, Superman style with a unique harness that supports you from the front. This line is intimidating at first, but becomes quite a nice and exciting journey over the forest once you start flying. It takes over a minute to reach the other side. Our guides really made the experience one to remember and made sure we were safe and felt comfortable with the whole process; before each line there was a 7 point inspection process to make sure the harness did not come loose or unsecured. During the truck ride up to and down from the collection of ziplines they kept us entertained and conversed with us so that we never felt bored or awkward. At the end, they also gave us some cookies for having "SURVIVED THE LINES!" I highly recommend Outfitters and thank Eli, Haden, and Christa for making this trip so memorable for me!!
