Explore Kona’s open ocean after dark on a blackwater drift dive among creatures migrating toward the surface. Conditions and wildlife vary nightly, and sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Know before you go

• Arrive no later than 10 minutes after the 6:30pm check-in time
• Open Water Scuba Diver certification and proof of certification at check-in required
• At least 50 logged dives or a prior check-out dive required
• Diving experience within the last 6 months required
• Ages 15+ only; minors must participate with a parent or guardian
• English proficiency without translation required for safety briefings
• Open-ocean swimming and climbing a hinged ladder unassisted required
• Weight limit: 275 lbs (125 kg)
• Documented medical clearance required for in-water activities after age 75
• Full-face snorkel masks are not permitted on board
• Do not consume alcohol or other substances before or during the charter
• Do not travel above 2,000 feet for 24 hours after diving
• Bring a towel; gratuity for guides is not included
