Things to know

Children under 12 must wear life jackets; guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Self-charters are not permitted; a licensed captain is included. BYOB only and small dogs are welcome; glass bottles are discouraged by the marina.

FAQs

Does the boat go to Devil’s Cove?
Yes. This is the primary location. Other destinations such as Hippie Hollow, Arkansas Bend, or Sometimes Islands are possible. Please let your captain know before heading out.

Do we need to bring life jackets?
Life jackets are provided for every adult. Please bring life jackets for children, or let us know in advance if you need us to supply them.

Are pets allowed?
Small dogs are welcome.

Can we bring glass bottles?
Glass bottles are discouraged by the marina. Broken glass and bare feet can lead to injuries.

Can we buy drinks on the boat?
No. Charters are BYOB and we do not supply alcohol.

What is the weather policy?
If there is severe weather at the time of departure (lightning or heavy winds), you may reschedule or receive a full refund. If weather cuts a trip short, a partial refund is given for the unused time.

Do you cook on the boat?
No. There is no grill onboard. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and snacks.

Do we need a captain? Can we charter the boat ourselves?
All charters come with a captain. Self-charters are not permitted.

Can the boat pick us up or drop us off at another location?
Yes. This can sometimes be arranged in advance with your captain.

Is there a parking fee?
Yes. Paradise Cove marina charges $20 per vehicle for up to 4 individuals, $5 per additional passenger. Rideshare drop-off is $5 per individual.

What should I bring for our day on the lake?
We recommend sunscreen (at least SPF 30), plenty of water, sunglasses, food, and towels.

Can non-swimmers join?
Yes, but life jackets must be worn. Lake Travis can be dangerous for non-swimmers.

What is your cancellation and deposit policy?
Cancellations with more than 7 days’ notice receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are charged 50 percent. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged in full. Deposits are available to secure your booking.
