Important details
- Ages 18+ to book. Ages 9–17 require an adult present on the water at all times.
- Ages 4–8 are passengers only in tandem kayaks or canoes.
- Weight limits: 275 lbs for single kayaks, 550 lbs for tandem kayaks, and 600 lbs for canoes.
- Park admission is not included in the listed price. A daily park fee or annual park sticker is required.
- Lock up all equipment after your rental. You'll be charged $10 per item left unlocked; this charge is not included in the listed price.
- Late returns incur a charge of double the hourly rate for every 15 minutes past your scheduled return time, separate from the listed price.
- Lost or damaged paddles and life jackets incur a $25 charge each. Kayak repair or replacement charges depend on the damage. These charges are not included in the listed price.
- Complete your waiver on the day of your rental before your start time, and ensure everyone in your group completes theirs. Equipment lock combinations are emailed after you sign your waiver.
- Wear a life jacket while kayaking. Use only the equipment you reserved, and do not launch or land from the beach area.
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early to unlock your equipment before your scheduled start.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund or credit. With less notice, partial refunds or credits are discretionary. No-shows receive no refund. If the operator cancels for weather or other circumstances, you'll receive a full refund or credit. Rentals may proceed in light rain; thunder or lightning allows rescheduling or a full refund.

Each canoe accommodates two adults, or two adults and one child.
Parking is available near the beach, past the boat parking lot, near the bathrooms, and near the park entrance. The nearest restrooms are up the staircase by the beach parking lot.
Wear quick-dry clothing and water-friendly shoes. Bring a towel, a change of clothes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, snacks, and water. Bring your phone and a dry bag or waterproof case for valuables; cell service may be spotty. Pack out all trash.
