Important details
- The Gold Bar Rim and Portal finish is a strenuous ride for advanced riders; the Mag-5 alternative suits intermediate riders
- E-bikes must be Class 1 electric mountain bikes with pedal assist only, a maximum assisted speed of 20 mph and a weight of 58 lbs or less. Non-mountain-bike designs are not permitted
- Navigate your own route. If riding an e-bike, stay on trails where electric mountain bikes are permitted; a noncompliant bike may be refused shuttle service
- Bring a bike in good working order with fully inflated tires, a helmet and a repair kit including a spare tube. The shuttle carries no tools or pumps
- Arrive 15 minutes before departure; the shuttle leaves promptly
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation or rescheduling requires 48 hours' notice for parties of 5 or fewer, 72 hours for 6–11, and 1 week for more than 12. A strict non-refundable cancellation policy applies. If the operator cancels for weather, you can reschedule subject to availability or receive a full refund.

Yes. The Magnificent 7 shuttle requires a minimum number of riders. If that minimum isn't met, you'll be notified by 5pm the day before about an alternative shuttle option, if available, or cancellation.
Yes. You can stage your vehicle in a roadside pullout within a mile of the Portal finish or at the Brands Area entrance for the Gemini Bridges exit. Otherwise, leave it at the departure lot and plan to ride back: 7.3 miles from Portal via road and bike path, or 9 miles from Gemini Bridges via paved bike path.
You'll receive a text and/or email as soon as the decision is made, typically that morning. Weather may force cancellation if shuttle travel is unsafe or riding could harm the trails.
