Beach loading requires walking through sand and up a staircase unassisted. Wheelchairs, strollers, and mobility issues cannot be accommodated.
Wear a shirt, light jacket, and shorts. Bring a hat, rain jacket or poncho, and reef-safe sunscreen. Wear easy-to-remove shoes; this is a barefoot sail, and shoes are stored before boarding.
Expect to get wet while boarding, sometimes up to your knees. Keep electronics and cameras out of lower pockets; onboard storage is available for bags and personal items.
