3:15pm - Check-in and introduction at Ku'ia Estate Chocolate Factory (arrive 15 minutes early).
3:30pm - Load onto the van and drive approximately 10 minutes to the private cacao farm for the farm tour.

5:00pm - Drive back to the factory.

So we scheduled this tour and I was expecting to see plants and taste some chocolate. This tour is so much more than that. Our guide, Carissa, was such a wealth of information and has an incredible attitude and a wonderful personality. She taught us the philosophy behind this chocolate farm and factory. How they support organizations on Maui. I don't want to give away too much but, if you're a Chef, and you use chocolate in your recipes and you want to support charities in Maui, this is the chocolate you want. The taste is incredible. I can't believe how different this chocolate tastes compared to other chocolates. My wife and I talked and we've decided that if we want chocolate, we will only buy this chocolate. They sell it on line and we will start ordering because its is truly the best chocolate and the causes they support.
