Itinerary
- Meet and park at Badger Meter River Park in Brown Deer.
- You get in our van and we shuttle you up to Thiensville Village Park.
- Launch and paddle the 4.5-mile river section downstream toward Thiensville at your own pace.
- Take out at Badger Meter River Park where your car is parked.

Important details
- Arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled departure
- Ages 12+ to paddle a single kayak
- Minimum weight: 50 lbs due to life jacket specifications
- Wear footwear that can get wet; flip-flops are not allowed
- Pets are not allowed
- Use alcoholic beverages responsibly; glass and Styrofoam are not allowed on the river
- Trips run rain or shine unless severe weather
- May require assisting with carrying kayaks

Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear that can get wet; flip-flops are not allowed. Bring a towel, dry clothes, water, snacks, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
River conditions vary with rainfall. You may scrape the riverbed in shallow spots or need to walk your kayak briefly. If water levels are too low, the river section may change. Trips run rain or shine unless severe weather, when your river float may be rescheduled or refunded.
Use the porta-potty at Badger Meter River Park or flush toilets at Thiensville Village Park. A mid-route restroom stop is available at River Barn Park.
