What makes this outfit special isn't just the snorkeling spots, though those consistently wow people. It's the crew that turns a nice outing into something guests rave about for years. Captain Joey gets called out constantly for timing visits perfectly so groups have Molokini all to themselves and taking guests to places bigger boats can't reach. Angela, Brandon, Austin, and the rest of the team match that energy with genuine warmth, patient instruction (especially with kids and first-timers), and storytelling that brings the lava formations and marine life to life. The smaller zodiac-style boats mean intimate groups, usually around 10 people, which lets you access hidden sea caves and get up close to dramatic coastal features other tours miss. Whether you're snorkeling inside and behind Molokini Crater, hanging out with turtles at their cleaning stations, or watching dolphins swim alongside the boat, the crew has a knack for finding the magic moments. Multiple reviewers mention returning year after year, which speaks volumes. Just be prepared for a more adventurous ride with higher waves if conditions are rough—a few mention needing seasickness remedies, though they still say it's worth it.
Just got back from a 5 hour excursion with Bri and Angela as our captains and fearless leaders. The water was "spicy", as they termed it, because of the winds, but we endured through, had a lot of laughs, saw some amazing spots around Maui we would never have been able to see without them. Snorkeled and saw all sorts of fish and turtles. Food was delicious, and there was plenty to go around. We had a small group of 12 and that was amazing to not be crowded. They were even champions for the people who found out water sports were not their forte and kept them hydrated and comfortable and didn't make them feel bad. Overall, a great way to spend my morning.
