- Take two 30-minute ferry rides between Manhattan and Staten Island
- Cross the Manhattan, Pulaski, Triborough/RFK, and Madison Avenue bridges
- Follow the Hudson River and East River waterfront greenways
- Pedal through Harlem and Central Park before returning to Hudson Yards
Important details
- Ages 16+ only; riders ages 16–20 require a parent
- Requires bike experience and comfort riding in New York City
- Bring a valid passport or driver's license for arrival
- Complete the required waiver before the tour
- Personal e-bikes must be able to handle the 23-mile riding distance
Cancellation Policy
Full refund with at least 21 days' notice. Otherwise, no refund. Full refund if the tour is canceled because of steady rain at the start.
FAQs
Arrive on time. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you will miss the scheduled ferry and the Staten Island portion of the tour. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will miss the tour.
In summer, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a light jacket or sweatshirt, and a poncho. Do not wear flip-flops. In winter, bring goggles, a heavy jacket, gloves, thermals, a neck warmer, a small beanie or ski hat for under the helmet, and heavy or layered socks.
