- A unique tour offering, come for a nighttime snowshoe hike through the sparkling boreal forest. This is a favorite time to get outside for locals! We'll gear up in our cabin, then venture out into the forest by headlamp and discover just how special it is to travel by snowshoe at night.
- Fun for most ages and ability levels (we recommend 4 and up, but feel free to call us if you have any concerns), and no prior experience necessary. At the end of the tour, you’re welcome to join us in our cozy cabin for storytelling and herbal teas foraged locally by your guides. Catch a glimpse into our down-to-earth Alaskan lifestyle, and experience how the locals live in the far north!

- Ages 3+ only; recommended for ages 4 and up
- Weights over 320 lbs require verification that suitable snowshoes are available
- Participation requires acceptance of a liability release and assumption-of-risk agreement
- Bring a winter coat or parka, a hat, and warm mittens—the minimum clothing required. Additional clothing is limited in sizes and availability.
- Arrive at your scheduled tour time, not early. There is no place to wait before the tour begins.
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before your scheduled tour for a full refund. Cancellations 48–72 hours before the tour incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour incur the full tour price. You'll receive a full refund if the operator cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.

Yes. Tours can operate at temperatures as low as -30 to -40°F, but participation at these temperatures is not recommended for children under 12. Check the forecast and bring appropriate cold-weather clothing.
No. The cabin is not available for warming up during your tour. If you get cold while snowshoeing, the group can return earlier.
Yes. Taxis, Uber, and Lyft operate in Fairbanks, but availability is limited, especially for pickup after the tour. Arrange your return transportation ahead of time.
