Itinerary
- Plan to reach the summit as early as possible! We recommend starting your hike no later than 5:00am. You should strive to find parking in the Barr Trail lot at 13 Hydro St. in Manitou Springs and begin hiking by 4:00am on weekends during the summer, especially in the month of July.
- End your hike at the summit of Pikes Peak at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure time and give yourself time to enjoy the visitors center, grab a doughnut, use the restroom, and take photos. Connect to the free wifi inside the building.
- 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time, check in with your driver upstairs, inside the visitors center, near the main entrance. Follow their instructions to find your seat inside the shuttle van.
- The shuttle departs promptly at 1:00pm and 4:00pm to descend the mountain via the Pikes Peak Highway. Enjoy a scenic, high elevation drive down to Manitou Springs.
- Passenger drop off at the Barr Trail lot in Manitou Springs

Important details
- Arrive at the summit at least 1 hour before your scheduled departure; the shuttle cannot wait for late passengers
- A working cell phone is required for road closure or delay notifications
- Babies and children who require car seats cannot ride the shuttle
- Dogs must remain leashed; an extra dog fee applies and is not included in the listed price
- A cleaning fee of up to $100 may apply if your dog has an accident or gets sick in the vehicle
- Expect possible weather- or traffic-related delays and temporary Pikes Peak Highway closures

Full refund with at least 48 hours' notice. 50% refund with 24–48 hours' notice. No refund within 24 hours or for no-shows. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Reserve at least 24 hours before your hike when possible. Seats can fill quickly, though reservations may be available until a few hours before departure.
Bring as much water as you can comfortably carry, food, sun protection, a waterproof shell, lightweight hiking shoes with good tread, wool socks, an extra phone battery, pain relievers, bandages, and traction such as microspikes for icy conditions.
