Rocky Mountain Ride, 111 E Cimarron St, Colorado Springs
Pikes Peak Highway winds 19 miles through some of Colorado's most breathtaking high-country terrain, carrying you from the foothills near Colorado Springs all the way to a 14,115-foot summit above the clouds. Along Pikes Peak Highway, the landscape shifts from ponderosa pine forest to tundra to bare granite, offering a concentrated tour of the Rockies in a single drive. The air thins noticeably as you climb, and the views stretch across the Great Plains to the east and deep into the mountain ranges to the west.
