- Ages 8+ only. Children ages 8–12 must be accompanied by at least one adult
- Equipment is not included. Bring backcountry touring skis with a wider profile, metal edges, and fish-scale bottoms, boots compatible with the ski bindings, and a set of poles
- The lesson may change due to high winds, cold temperatures, or other weather conditions
