Are there weight limits for guests?

Yes. The limit is 230 lbs. per individual guest, or 1,100 lbs. total among guests. In an emergency, all guests must be able to fit into a type-1 Coast Guard-mandated life vest to board.

What should I wear on board?

Follow the shoeless policy when temperatures are above 70°F, and wear easy-on/easy-off shoes for quick boarding. Do not wear black-sole shoes, since they can leave scuff marks. Bring flat-sole shoes, plus sun protection like a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

The beautifully maintained classic wooden boats provide smooth, scenic cruises along the Delaware River while knowledgeable captains share fascinating local history and point out landmarks. Guests consistently praise the warm hospitality and professionalism, with hosts going above and beyond to accommodate late arrivals, reschedule for weather, and even warm up food brought onboard. The experience strikes a perfect balance between elegant and relaxed, with many reviewers mentioning charcuterie boards, mimosas, and stunning sunset views of the Philadelphia skyline. Photographers appreciate the accommodating staff who work to capture perfect shots. Several guests spotted bald eagles during their trips, adding an unexpected wildlife element. The attention to detail shows throughout, from the spotless boats to thoughtful touches that make birthdays, anniversaries, and even proposals feel truly special. This has become a beloved local treasure for creating memorable moments on the water.

What people are saying

Genuinely one of the most beautiful and memorable experiences I’ve had in Philly!! I booked Sea Philly on Penn’s Landing for a breakup party with my girlfriends, and from the second I told them what we were celebrating, Georgette and the entire team went SO above and beyond to make the day special. Georgette was absolutely amazing and even surprised me with a cake to celebrate 😭💗 It was such a thoughtful touch and really speaks to how much they care about the people who step onto their boat. They made sure my friends and I were completely taken care of the entire time, helped us get all of our food set up, brought us drinks, and made everything feel so easy and seamless so we could just enjoy ourselves. And when I say they went above and beyond, I mean ABOVE AND BEYOND. The owners literally became our photographers for the day 😂 They helped us take pictures, made sure we got every angle we wanted, and were just so patient, fun, and genuinely excited to help us capture the experience. What stood out to me the most was how personal everything felt. You can tell the owners truly care about every single person who steps onto their deck. They treated us like family and made what was already supposed to be a fun girls’ day feel so much more special. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate a new chapter surrounded by my girlfriends. 🥹 If you’re looking for a unique experience in Philly for a birthday, girls’ day, celebration, or apparently even a breakup party 😂, Sea Philly is IT. I loved every second of this experience and cannot recommend Georgette and the team enough. 💗
