Experience Kauai’s breathtaking natural wonders from the air, including places that can’t be reached by roads or trails. Fly in comfort on a private tour designed for small groups, with removable doors available.
Minimum age is 7, and passengers must weigh at least 40 pounds. Weight limits apply per seat and per person, and all passengers are weighed at check-in. Children ages 7–12 must fly with doors on.
A 48-hour cancellation or change notice is required. Cancellations, changes, or no-shows within 48 hours are not refundable and will be charged in full. If the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
What should I wear for a doors-off helicopter tour?
Wear or bring a fitted jacket or sweater. Closed-toe shoes or sandals with a strap are required (no flip flops or slippers). Long pants or jeans are optional. Avoid large earrings, hats, and claw hair clips; long hair must be securely tied back.
Can I bring a camera or GoPro?
Yes, but cameras and GoPros must have a strap or lanyard. Only one photo device per person is allowed (camera, phone, GoPro, etc.). Cell phone lanyards are provided.
Are there weight and age restrictions?
Passengers must be at least 7 years old and weigh 40 lbs or more. All passengers are weighed at check-in. Total weight per seat must not exceed 275 lbs; for groups of 3, only one person can be 200+ lbs and total passenger weight must not exceed 560 lbs. Seat assignments may be adjusted due to weight and balance restrictions.
Do children have to fly with the doors on?
Yes. Children ages 7–11 must fly with doors on.
What happens if weather affects the flight?
Tours may be adjusted, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather, including up to 30 minutes before departure. Routes and flight patterns may also change due to weather conditions.
