Cycling through New York with guides like Michael, Anne, and Eric seems to be the real draw here. Reviewers consistently praise their knowledge, relaxed style, and genuine interest in the people on their tours. The routes through Lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, Chinatown, the 9/11 Memorial, and along the Hudson River feel well thought out, with plenty of stops and some great viewpoints along the way. The bikes themselves get solid mentions too, with comfortable Dutch Gazelle-style cycles and the option to upgrade to e-bikes if you prefer. That said, most riders note that the standard bikes handle the routes just fine. A private tour is possible if you happen to book during a quieter period, which some guests found to be a real bonus. Overall, this looks like a genuinely enjoyable way to connect with the city rather than just pass through it.
We received a very warm welcome. Viola was a great guide and had a lot to tell. Beautiful views and time flew by. Highly recommended.
