The guides here, particularly Isaac, Laurie, and Nancy, have built a strong reputation around deep local knowledge and genuine warmth. Isaac comes up repeatedly for his encyclopedic understanding of the city and his attentiveness, from opening doors to pointing out hidden gems most visitors would walk right past. Laurie's Brooklyn food tours get equally enthusiastic praise, with guests raving about the variety of food stops and how much history she weaves into the experience. A few patterns worth noting for first-time bookers: several reviewers wished they had opted for the longer tour options, suggesting the time flies faster than expected. Pre-trip communication also gets singled out frequently as a highlight, so expect a smooth, well-organized experience from the moment you book. The vehicles are consistently described as clean and comfortable, and guides regularly accommodate special needs without any fuss. If you're trying to decide between the Manhattan driving tour or one of the Brooklyn food experiences, both come with near-universal enthusiasm from past guests. The tours feel personal rather than scripted, and that seems to be the real draw here. Guides who genuinely love the city and know how to share it make a noticeable difference, and that comes through clearly across the reviews.
Isaac was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He was incredibly accommodating and flexible. We were able to see so much of NYC, including Greenwich Village, Tribeca, SoHo, Midtown Manhattan, and more. He knows the entire city like the back of his hand. We were able to visit all the best attractions without feeling like tourists. He knew exactly where to park, where to go, and how to make the most of our time. We visited Grand Central Terminal, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, enjoyed some of the best pizza in New York, and saw so much more. The tour was fun, informative, and truly one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting New York City, a tour with Isaac is an absolute must! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
