Know before you go
- Check in 15 minutes before your lesson, take the included shuttle, and do not meet the group at Kalama Beach Park
- Bring a towel and arrive wearing swimwear
- Children under 12 may take a one-on-one private lesson or join parents in an Ohana package
- Non-swimmers may participate only in a private one-on-one lesson
- Arrive sober; service may be denied for visible intoxication or suspected drug or alcohol influence
- Expect surfing may trigger motion or seasickness
Cancellation Policy
Full refund with 48 hours' notice, or 24 hours' notice for Fairmont Kea Lani guests. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
FAQs
Non-swimmers may join only in a private one-on-one lesson. Other lesson types require comfortable ocean swimming without assistance or a life jacket.
Surfing may trigger motion or seasickness. Consider taking your preferred motion sickness medication before your lesson.
Arrive sober. Service may be denied if you are visibly intoxicated or suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
