Raptor Route & Porcupine Mountain Bike Shuttle in Moab

Reach fast, flowing singletrack with a shuttle into Moab’s mountain bike trails

    Duration

1 hr shuttle drive; 3–4 hrs trail

    Highlights

Take a shuttle to your trail start, then ride desert singletrack with flowing sections and a few well-marked advanced moves. The Raptor Route suits intermediate and advanced riders, with Porcupine Rim offering a more technical, remote alternative.

    • Explore nearly 12 miles of Raptor Route singletrack linking Eagle Eye, Hawks Glide, Falcon Flow, and Kestrel Run
    • Start at the Eagle Eye trailhead when conditions permit
    • Access the Porcupine trails on the same shuttle service

    Important details

    • Mountain bikes only; non-mountain bike designs are not permitted on the shuttle
    • E-bikes must be Class 1 mountain bikes with pedal assist only, a maximum assisted speed of 20 mph, and a weight of 58 lbs or less
    • E-bike drop-off is at Hawks Glide. Ride only Hawks Glide, Falcon Flow, and Kestrel Run; e-bikes are prohibited on Eagle Eye and non-motorized Whole Enchilada trails. You are responsible for navigating a legal route throughout your ride
    • Arrive with fully inflated tires and a bike in good working order. Bring a helmet and a repair kit with a spare tube; the shuttle carries no tools or pumps
    • Arrive 15 minutes before departure; the shuttle leaves promptly at the scheduled start time

    Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or rescheduling require 48 hours' notice for parties of 5 or fewer, 72 hours for 6–11, and 1 week for more than 12. The cancellation policy is strict and non-refundable, with no exceptions. If the shuttle is canceled for weather, you can reschedule subject to availability or receive a full refund.

    FAQs

From the end of Raptor Route’s Kestrel Run, ride 6.5 miles back to the shuttle lot via a downhill-trending gravel road, then city streets or the Millcreek Bike Path. From the end of Porcupine, the return is 6 miles on a flat, paved bike path.

A minimum number of riders is required. If it isn’t met, you’ll be notified by 5 p.m. the day before about an alternative shuttle option, if available, or cancellation.

If weather makes the shuttle unsafe or riding harmful to the trails, you’ll receive a text and/or email as soon as the cancellation decision is made, typically that morning.
