Know before you go
- Arrive about 10 minutes before your booked time
- Adults ages 18+ renting a canoe must sign a waiver and be present
- At least one person from each canoe must attend the river briefing
- A US Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device is required for each person in a canoe; it is included with rentals, while bring-your-own boat users must supply one
- Children under 12 must wear a personal flotation device on the river
- No alcohol may be consumed on the property, and intoxicated or disruptive groups may be refused a rental
- Trips may be modified or canceled due to weather or river conditions
- A $3 insurance charge and $20 shuttle charge per piece of equipment apply and are not included in the listed price

Full refunds are available for cancellations requested more than 7 days before your trip. No refunds are available for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of departure.

Bring your own canoe or kayak for use on the Saco River between the main base and Hiram, Maine. A pass is required for put-in and parking, and you need a US Coast Guard-approved personal flotation device for each person.
