Return to the water with a refresher designed for certified divers. Build comfort underwater while revisiting essential diving practices at a Florida spring location.
8:00 AM – Meet & Check-In
Meet your instructor at the designated spring entrance or parking area.
Review park entry procedures and complete required waivers.
Verify certification level and discuss dive experience and comfort level.
Equipment fitting and setup assistance provided.
8:30 AM – Knowledge Review
Quick review of dive planning, signals, and safety concepts.
Refresh on dive tables or dive computer use, and pre-dive safety checks.
Instructor answers questions and reviews areas you’d like to focus on.
9:15 AM – Confined Water or Shallow Skills Session
Review and practice essential scuba skills in shallow, calm water:
Mask clearing and removal
Regulator recovery and clearing
Buoyancy control and weight checks
Emergency ascent procedures
Alternate air source use
Emphasis on comfort, control, and safety in the water.
10:15 AM – Surface Interval & Discussion
Instructor provides personalized feedback and discusses any skill refinements needed before the next dive.
10:45 AM – Open Water Dive
Conduct a guided dive in the spring basin to apply refreshed skills.
Focus on buoyancy control, navigation awareness, and air management.
Explore the natural beauty of North Florida’s crystal-clear springs.
11:45 AM – Wrap-Up & Debrief
Rinse and secure equipment.
Review dive logs and discuss next steps or continuing education options.
Nonrefundable after eLearning registration. Reschedule free up to 48 hours before the course; later rescheduling costs $100 per student. Reschedule within one year of eLearning registration. No-shows are charged the full price and cannot be rescheduled; arriving 15 minutes late is a no-show. Weather cancellations are rescheduled at no extra charge.

Wear swimwear. Bring towels, water, and snacks. A 5 mm wetsuit is recommended. Apply sunscreen at home and allow it to absorb before the dive.
Do not consume alcohol for at least 24 hours before your refresher dive.
