Important details
- Renters must be at least 21. Drivers must be at least 18, or at least 25 when carrying passengers under 18.
- All riders must be at least 46 inches tall.
- A valid driver's license is required. Bring your license and a state-issued photo ID.
- Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 require off-highway vehicle safety certification before vehicle pickup. Certification from any U.S. state is accepted. Bring proof of certification.
- This activity is not suitable during pregnancy and is not wheelchair accessible.
- A refundable $3,000 damage deposit per machine is held at arrival and is not included in the listed price. Bring a credit card for the hold.
- Late-return charges are not included in the listed price: $100 for returns 10 minutes to 1 hour late, plus $100 per hour beyond the first hour. If your late return interferes with another rental, you'll also be charged that rental's price.
- Department of Transportation-approved helmets and goggles are required. Rental sets cost $10 per set, separate from the listed price.
- Complete one damage waiver per vehicle, signed by a driver who meets the driver requirements.
- Arrive 30 minutes before your reservation start time.
Cancellation Policy
With at least 7 days' notice, you'll receive a full refund, credit, or rebooking. Submit cancellation notice in writing. No-shows are charged the full price. Rides run rain or shine; clouds or low aurora activity do not qualify for refunds, rescheduling, or cancellation. Trail closures due to fire danger or other natural disasters on the reservation day are rebooked or refunded.

Yes. An optional damage deposit waiver costs $50 per machine, separate from the listed price, and reduces your rental's refundable deposit from $3,000 to $1,500 per machine.
No. Northern lights visibility and clear skies are not guaranteed on your night ride. Fainter auroras may look white or pale green to the naked eye; a smartphone camera can capture colors more vividly.
Dress for current temperatures and weather, and wear clothes that can get dirty. Bring bug spray, a change of clothes, water, snacks, and a camera. Protect your phone with a waterproof case or dry bag.
