4 Hours
Food, drinks, hotel pickup
Explore Siem Reap by tuktuk with local guides as you skip tourist-focused menus and eat where locals do. Stop at restaurants, a village home, and a local bar, with a home-cooked meal at sunset in the countryside.
This tour can accommodate gluten-free, dairy-free, no-spicy, and no-nut needs, but cannot accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets. Gratuities are not included.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before start (100% refund). No refund within 24 hours. Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before start are charged an additional 50% of your previous total.
Expect an email 1–2 days before your tour with your specific hotel pick-up time. Pick-ups vary seasonally between 4:00–4:30pm based on sunset timing.
A tuktuk driver will meet you in your hotel lobby with a Lost Plate sign and take you to the first stop, where you’ll meet your English-speaking guide and the rest of the group. Local traffic can affect the exact pick-up time.
You can request gluten-free, dairy-free, no-spicy, and no-nut options. The tour cannot accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets. Share any dietary needs immediately; same-day requests cannot be guaranteed.
Hotel pick-up and drop-off is included from centrally located hotels.
Portland food tours done right. Guides like Herb, Michelle, and Evangel consistently earn high praise for their genuine enthusiasm, deep local knowledge, and ability to make every guest feel at ease. From Portland's quirky food cart pods to the city's thriving coffee and donut scene, each tour weaves together great food with real stories about the people and neighborhoods behind it. What stands out most across reviews is how often guests mention trying things they never would have ordered on their own, and loving them. Dietary accommodations are handled smoothly, group sizes stay small and social, and the pacing feels relaxed rather than rushed. Locals and visitors alike come away with a fresh perspective on the city. If you're trying to decide between tours, the food cart experience and the coffee and donut tour both draw glowing feedback, each offering something distinct. The guides clearly take pride in what they do, and that energy tends to be contagious. Come hungry and ready to explore.
I had such a great time joining Michelle’s Lost Food Plate tour! Even as a Portland local, I had so much fun and got to explore a few spots I’d never been to before. The coffee and donuts were GREAT, and it was really interesting to see downtown’s coffee culture up close. I thought I knew all these places, but clearly I didn’t! I’d absolutely recommend this tour to friends and family, whether they’re visiting from out of town or locals wanting to experience Portland in a new way. It would also make a fun activity for a group trip!
