Heliskiing enthusiasts rave about the world-class experience here, with guides like Nick, Logan, Tyler, Chris, and Nate earning specific praise for their mountain knowledge, safety focus, and ability to find incredible terrain. The untouched powder runs and tree skiing are consistently described as epic and life-changing, with one longtime skier calling it absolutely ruined resorts for them. The pilots demonstrate impressive skill, and the whole operation runs smoothly from the morning safety briefings to the excellent food throughout the day. Weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, and flights don't always happen as planned. When conditions don't cooperate, the team offers guided skiing at Snowbird as an alternative, which most guests appreciate as a fantastic backup option. The staff generally makes people feel safe and comfortable, though there's an isolated mention of front desk service falling short of the premium experience. Overall, this is a highly professional operation that delivers memorable backcountry adventures for both first-timers and veterans with 25+ years of heliskiing under their belts.

This was my third time flying with Powderbirds, and they continue to exceed expectations. The operation is first-class from start to finish. Our guide, Logan Cookler, made the entire experience seamless, safe, and incredibly fun for our group. His professionalism, local knowledge, and ability to read the terrain and the group made for an unforgettable day in the Wasatch. If you’re looking for a truly world-class backcountry experience, Powderbirds and Logan are the team you want. I can’t recommend them highly enough. The Wasatch never disappoints—and with the right guide, it becomes something special
