This laid-back marina on Lake Mohave wins people over with genuinely helpful staff who clearly care about visitors having a good time. Multiple reviewers specifically call out team members like Karen, Greg, and Rex for going above and beyond, even handling equipment issues with quick refunds and no hassle. The boat and kayak rentals get consistent praise, and folks love the clear water and uncrowded atmosphere that make it ideal for diving, fishing, or just relaxing on the lake. The weekend cafe adds a nice touch, and those desert sunrises apparently live up to the hype. The facilities show their age pretty noticeably. Campgrounds need serious maintenance, some houseboats look worn with cleanliness issues, and the general infrastructure could use investment. A few visitors found things run-down or not matching photos. That said, most people still have a great time because the location itself is beautiful and the staff really does make an effort. If you're after pristine facilities, maybe look elsewhere, but if you prioritize friendly service, peaceful surroundings, and excellent lake access without the crowds, this spot delivers where it counts.
If you are wanting a quiet and peaceful settting with many a mile game traiil to hike, shoreline to explore, this is definately the place. Weekend breakfast and lunch in the cafe is just the right touch to cap a wonderful weekend enjoyment. P.S. the sunrises and sunsets are to die 4
