Lake Mohave's remoteness is honestly part of the charm here. The water is strikingly clear, the night skies are dark enough to genuinely impress, and the surrounding scenery makes the drive in feel like part of the experience. Staff at the marina consistently earn praise by name, with Greg, Rex, Ryan, and Karen all mentioned for going out of their way to make visits memorable. Boat and kayak rentals are a highlight, and the weekend cafe adds a nice touch for those staying longer. That said, the campground and RV facilities show their age, and several reviewers noted a lack of maintenance across those areas specifically. Travelers focused on water activities and day visits tend to walk away happy, while those expecting polished overnight accommodations may find it falls short. Going in with calibrated expectations makes a real difference here. The marina experience and the lake itself are the draws, and for those priorities, it delivers.
