Experience gospel as part of Harlem's Sunday church tradition, not a staged show

Local guide, Church visit
Explore a Sunday tradition that means more than music: for Harlem congregants, church family and worship are a source of weekly spiritual sustenance. Join respectfully and with an open mind—gospel takes many forms, rather than following a scene from the movies.
Sunday Gospel in Harlem invites you to respectfully join a local congregation for an hour of worship and inspirational gospel music after which there is a walking tour with a licensed Harlem resident guide who will share neighborhood history and point out historic sites associated with the Harlem Renaissance, a historic period in Black history. The experience focuses on the singing portion of the service; guests are seated in the balcony and leave before the pastor's sermon to avoid disruption. This is a regular Sunday morning worship for parishioners and visitors are welcome.
No refund if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance. If you use a pass and do not attend without canceling beforehand, you'll be charged the full tour price.
