The crew consistently earns rave reviews for being friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive to guests. Captains like Bama, Tanner, and Patrick get mentioned by name repeatedly, along with crew members who clearly work hard to make every sailing memorable. People appreciate how personable everyone is, from helping guests board through the beach to sharing local recommendations and keeping the drinks flowing. Whale watching is a major highlight, with travelers reporting incredible up-close encounters during season. The snorkeling trips also deliver, with beautiful fish and coral at great spots. The catamarans themselves get praised for being spacious, clean, and comfortable without feeling crowded. Most guests find the food solid and the drinks plentiful, though one reviewer noted the lunch options could use more flavor. Overall, this operation has people booking return trips and calling their excursions the highlight of their Maui vacation.
We took the 7.30am boat on Friday the 3rd April. Firstly the crew are so so lovely and full of knowledge but not thrown at you like a lecture. The boat is super comfy we were luck to only be a group of 24 people but it's still spacious if full. The bar provided was great and great snacks as we were hungry as still on UK time! Getting on board was easy and great for all abilities. The best part was we managed to see some whales we say a baby and a mom with a group of males trying their luck to which she waved them off. The photographer on board was a great extra and very reasonable photo package price.
