Sailing the Columbia River Gorge with this crew is one of those experiences that keeps people coming back year after year. Captain Devon leads most outings, with deck hands Zach and others rounding out a crew that genuinely loves sharing the history, wildlife, and beauty of the area. Reviewers consistently mention feeling like they were out on the water with old friends rather than strangers. The sunset sail is the standout offering, timed beautifully to the golden hour with stunning gorge views as a backdrop. Guests have spotted eagles diving for fish, felt the spray of the bow while tacking into the wind, and savored charcuterie board add-ons with wine in hand. The Catalina 38 comfortably accommodates small groups while still leaving room for couples wanting a bit of privacy, making it a popular choice for honeymoons, anniversaries, and milestone birthdays alike. If there is a consistent theme across all the reviews, it is that the crew makes the experience. Knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely engaged, they elevate what could be a simple boat ride into something memorable. First-time sailors and seasoned veterans alike have walked away impressed, and many return for repeat trips. This one is easy to recommend.
